BitGo is a leading provider of digital asset financial services, offering institutional investors liquidity, custody, and security solutions. We are pioneers in the multi-signature wallet space and the first company to exclusively focus on serving institutional clients within the cryptocurrency market.

Our comprehensive suite of services includes prime brokerage with trading, lending, and borrowing capabilities, as well as regulated custody solutions for assets like WBTC, a leading global stablecoin for Bitcoin. BitGo also provides portfolio management and tax tools through BitGo Portfolio and Tax, further solidifying our position as a one-stop shop for institutional digital asset needs.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director to join our growing team in London. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, this individual contributor role will be responsible for driving revenue growth across all of BitGo's solutions by acquiring new clients within the EMEA region and globally.

Responsibilities
  • Generate new business opportunities and revenue streams through the acquisition of new client relationships across BitGo's product portfolio, including secure wallets, regulated custody, and prime brokerage services.
  • Represent BitGo's products and services effectively in client meetings and industry events within the EMEA region and occasionally globally.
  • Develop a deep understanding of regional market dynamics, competitive landscape, and evolving regulatory environment within the cryptocurrency sector.
  • Lead the entire sales cycle, from initial outreach to closing deals, including preparing compelling presentations, proposals, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding.
  • Become an expert in the cryptocurrency market and BitGo's comprehensive suite of custody, trading, staking, lending, and DeFi products.
  • Work independently in a fast-paced environment, managing client requests, issues, and initiatives across multiple departments, including trading, lending, operations, compliance, and support.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and in-depth dives, leveraging your expertise to showcase how BitGo's solutions meet the specific needs of each client.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of proven experience in institutional or enterprise sales, business development, account management, or other front-office roles within digital assets, financial services, fintech, or a related industry.
  • Strong understanding of finance and technical terminology, concepts, and the ability to effectively communicate between both domains.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for the cryptocurrency industry and a willingness to learn about emerging concepts such as protocols, tokens, DeFi, and NFTs.
  • Adaptability and eagerness to learn new products and technologies in a rapidly evolving environment.
  • Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce.
  • Critical thinking skills, open communication style, and a proactive, ownership-driven mentality.
