Key Responsibilities
  • Exhibit exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas.
  • Conduct thorough internal and external security patrols as outlined in the assignment.
  • Perform locking and unlocking duties as specified in the assignment.
  • Assist staff and visitors with any inquiries or concerns.
  • Manage equipment provided by the client and First Response Group in accordance with established procedures.
  • Offer support, guidance, and information to all personnel, visitors, and contractors while ensuring the safeguarding of the premises.
  • Verify that all personnel and visitors possess the necessary credentials for building access.
  • Maintain clear walkways and emergency exit routes at all times.
  • Respond to and investigate all fire and security alarm activations.
  • Report any instances of property at risk of loss, theft, damage, or vandalism.
  • Conduct initial investigations and report incidents, suspicious activities, and vehicles both verbally and in writing.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing practices and processes and discuss them with the duty manager and site operations manager.
  • Escalate emergency situations to law enforcement as necessary.
Essential Qualifications
  • Possession of valid SIA Door Supervisor & CCTV Licenses is essential.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Security Officer role.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Demonstrate punctuality and reliability.
  • Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Provide a comprehensive 5-year work/unemployment/education history in compliance with BS7858 standards.
  • Comfortable with long-distance patrolling and standing for extended periods.
