Activity Coordinator

We are seeking a creative and organized individual to join our team as an Activity Coordinator at Kilfillan House Care Home. As an Activity Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging activities for our residents, promoting their independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver morning and afternoon activity sessions, tailored to the interests and needs of our residents.
- Produce and update an activity planner for the home, working within a set activities budget.
- Support residents in participating in activities and encourage them to engage with their peers.
- Organize birthday surprises and other special events for our residents.
- Coordinate with external companies and performers to arrange days out and events at the home.
- Assist with breakfast, lunch, and dinner duties as needed.
- Organize one-to-one sessions with residents, using tools such as reminiscence therapy, puzzles, and reading.
- Update paperwork, care plans, and activity notes, and manage emails.
- Support the home with social media management as required.
We are looking for a creative thinker with excellent organizational skills, who can manage budgets and maintain paperwork effectively. You should be passionate about making a difference in the lives of others, and have a sense of humor and enthusiasm for engaging with people.
