Up to £58,000 with the potential to earn £6000 bonus

As a Nursery Manager, you play a pivotal role in our organization. We aim to equip you with the confidence and knowledge necessary for fostering a successful nursery environment.

The success of your nursery hinges on the team you cultivate, nurture, and sustain to deliver outstanding care for every child.

An engaged team will forge strong connections with families, beginning with their child at the centre.

Leading a high-performing team entails taking charge of the quality within your setting, managing staff retention, attendance, and enhancing your nursery's occupancy.

Our support teams are here to enable you to concentrate on maintaining high standards within your setting, aligning with our mission to provide 'the right start for under 5s.'


Building meaningful relationships with children, families, your team, and the local community
Guiding your team to excel as childcare educators through your leadership, enthusiasm, and commitment
Keeping open lines of communication with your team and families through regular updates
Welcoming new staff and children into the nursery, effectively implementing plans for their integration, and supporting their ongoing development

Collaborating with other Fennies nursery locations to become an integral part of our community, exemplifying our LIFE values.

Ensuring your nursery is adequately staffed and equipped to provide high-quality educational childcare
Continuously assessing performance within your settings and making necessary improvements
Monitoring children's learning and development, sharing insights with families and staff
Possessing excellent knowledge of 'Birth to 5 Matters', typical child development stages, and a solid understanding of the EYFS
Holding a full and relevant Level 3 or higher Early Years qualification
Achieving a minimum grade 4 or grade C in Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent)
Ensuring compliance with key person, safeguarding, health & safety, and confidentiality protocols
Understanding how to safely administer medication, First Aid, and critical care policies
Preparing for Ofsted visits and fulfilling associated responsibilities
Effectively resolving issues and complaints in accordance with Fennies' policies and procedures
Building connections with our support functions to feel integrated into our broader family, allowing you to focus on making a positive impact for every child
Providing exceptional facilities that create an engaging and stimulating environment for children to learn and for your teams to inspire young learners
Sharing updates and initiatives in regular meetings to facilitate feedback from your nursery
Prioritizing your well-being through monthly events that support your life outside of Fennies.
Staying informed on industry trends and methods, and assisting in the implementation of updates in the nursery.
