About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Insurance and Money Services team at Tesco Bank. As a key member of our Commercial Finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting the Centres of Expertise (CoE's) cost base within our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain accurate and timely month-end reporting to support business decision-making.
  • Contribute to the build and development of budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide insightful analysis and financial modeling to inform strategic decisions.
  • Transform data into clear and actionable financial outputs and presentations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support your manager in other ad-hoc activities as required.
  • Proactively manage workload to ensure timely delivery of cost reporting processes.
  • Collaborate with multiple business areas across finance and the wider business.
  • Support Decision Support Managers in delivering cost targets and reporting.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Management Accounting and Finance Department processes.
  • Excellent Excel skills, with proficiency in PowerPoint.
  • Inquisitive mindset, able to find and develop insight from data to inform business decisions.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team, with multiple stakeholders.
  • Adaptable and flexible in your working style, with a focus on meeting concurrent deadlines.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in Financial Services or Retail.
  • Experience in a Decision Support or Business Partnering function.
  • Expert Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Demonstrable experience of quickly forming networks and hitting the ground running.
  • CIMA/ACCA/ICAS qualified.
