Job Overview

Life Sciences Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading global medical device manufacturer and distributor seeking a seasoned sales professional to drive growth in the Theatres, Critical Care & A&E sectors.

This field-based role will oversee the East Midlands Area, covering Nottingham to Hertfordshire, including East Anglia and Norfolk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market analysis and develop an effective sales strategy for the territory, presenting it to management for approval.
  • Maximize sales by performing all necessary activities, from product introduction to closing and contract negotiation, in line with the sales strategy.
  • Manage product mix, pricing, and margins to meet agreed-upon targets.
  • Utilize customer and prospect contact tools and systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Respond to and follow up on sales inquiries using appropriate methods.
  • Monitor and report on market and competitor activities, providing relevant insights and information.
  • Record, analyze, report, and administer data according to established systems and requirements.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of consistent over-plan sales experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of the NHS competitive marketplace.
  • Deep understanding of the decision-making process with customers, including economic buyers and reimbursement.
