Medical Device Testing Director

Your responsibilities will include conducting medical device testing, developing new test methods, and working with our business development team to answer customer questions as a technical expert.

**Key Responsibilities:**
* Conduct medical device testing to fulfill the requirements of the study plan and adhere to internal SOP and QMS
* Develop new test methods that support new claims and demonstrate compliance with regulatory/quality standards
* Work with the business development team to answer customer questions as a technical expert
* Develop test methods and procedures
* Implement test methods to identify product failures
* Ensure quality compliance standards are adhered to, ensuring auditable data is produced
* Implement project plans, standard operating procedures, and risk assessments
* Communicate with the team to participate in determining objectives

**What We're Looking For:**
* Previous experience in GLP testing/study directing
* Previous experience in a UKAS testing environment
* 3-5 years' experience working in a laboratory
* A hands-on approach to work
* A high level of attention to detail
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* A drive for time-bound completion of tasks
* Ability to work in, and adapt to, a rapidly changing environment
* Ability to prioritize and manage workload
* The ability to troubleshoot problems and develop solutions
* Confidentiality in processing sensitive data
* Ability to work to the highest HSE standards and procedures
* Health and safety/manual handling awareness
