Lead Neurotechnology Device Development

Join a world-leading company in the development of innovative neurotechnology devices. As a key figure in the Neurotech department, you will lead the design and transfer to manufacture of complex implantable medical devices.

With a strong track record of academic excellence and experience in developing and launching medical devices, you will be able to advise colleagues and clients on product development and regulatory processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Technical leadership in the development of neurotech/implantable medical devices.
  2. Project leadership, including program management, resource management, and client relationship management.
  3. Operational responsibility for the delivery of projects on time, to budget, and to the client's satisfaction.
  4. Advising on product development and regulatory processes, drawing on your experience of developing and launching medical devices.

Requirements:

  1. A degree in Engineering or a related discipline with a strong academic record.
  2. System-level understanding of neuromodulation device design and/or complex implantable medical devices and risk management.
  3. Experience in team management and/or project leadership.
  4. Recent experience leading the engineering of a novel AIMD from development through to clinical trials or product launch.
