Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the formulation, execution, and integration of necessary policies, procedures, and controls to ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory standards and, where applicable, industry best practices.
  • Assist in the distribution of regulatory reporting duties (business/compliance schedule) using project management tools and aid in tracking compliance with reporting timelines, including submission assistance.
  • Help maintain a comprehensive overview of the organization's policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with review timelines.
  • Participate in the evaluation of sanction batch screenings, sanction referrals, and ongoing assessments from the due diligence screening tool.
  • Contribute to the assessment of high-risk countries on the sanctions and embargoes list.
  • Coordinate the scheduling of Board and Committee meetings as required, in collaboration with the Compliance Officer.
  • Engage in compliance monitoring activities to ensure that the first line of defense adheres to compliance standards.
  • Involve in ESG governance and compliance initiatives.
  • Act as Deputy Secretary for various Committees as necessary.
  • Assist with additional corporate secretarial responsibilities as needed.
  • Stay informed on market updates and regulatory articles to effectively manage the organization's horizon scanning.
  • Provide support on compliance-related inquiries and develop training programs as required.
  • Assist in other governance-related matters or projects as directed by the Compliance Officer.
