Job Description

TPF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts and Financial Manager to join their team in a dynamic and growing accounting practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, taxation, and compliance, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality services to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, including limited companies, sole traders, partnerships, and individuals, providing expert advice on financial matters and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of client service delivery, including preparation of year-end accounts, management accounts, bookkeeping, VAT, and CIS.
  • Liaise with clients on financial and taxation issues, providing clear and concise advice and guidance.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, maintaining regular communication and ensuring that their needs are met.
  • Review and approve work completed by junior team members, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Assist in the management of the overall day-to-day running of the practice, including staff development and training.
Requirements
  • ACCA/ACA qualified or equivalent with at least 2-3 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Proven experience of working in a practice environment, with a strong understanding of financial management and taxation.
  • Experience in managing a client portfolio, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality services.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Experience of using cloud-based accounting software packages, such as Sage, Xero, QuickBooks.
  • Experience of TaxCalc or a similar accountancy software is desirable but not essential.
