Job Title: Head of IT Transformation

At KPI Recruiting, we are seeking an experienced IT professional to lead our IT transformation project. As the Head of IT Transformation, you will play a pivotal role in modernising our organisation's IT systems, driving a comprehensive shift to a next-generation, cloud-based infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a strong project strategy and lead the execution, ensuring key milestones are hit on time and within budget.
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement innovative solutions that increase operational efficiency and effectiveness across the business.
  • Oversee the selection and implementation of new cloud technologies, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
  • Manage relationships with external partners to ensure all deliverables are met on time and within the agreed scope.
  • Lead the migration of core systems to the cloud, ensuring the new environment is flexible, secure, and scalable.
  • Implement containerisation strategies using technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, driving efficiency and flexibility in our IT architecture.
  • Manage risks effectively, foreseeing potential challenges and developing contingency plans to address them.
  • Establish and maintain robust governance and reporting frameworks, providing regular updates to senior leadership.
Requirements
  • At least 10 years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on large-scale transformation projects.
  • Deep understanding of cloud-based architectures, with hands-on experience using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong technical knowledge of system integration, software development lifecycles, and IT infrastructure management.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide teams, as well as influence senior stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Experience in risk management and change management, with a proven ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Strong background in managing budgets and resources, with the ability to oversee a multi-million-pound project budget.
