About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Deputy Home Manager to join our support team at Aspris Childrens Services Limited. As a Deputy Home Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting and caring for our young people with emotional and behavioural needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and care for our young people, promoting their independence and self-care skills.
  • Oversee the effective implementation of care and independence programmes, managing shift patterns and line managing a small staff team.
  • Communicate effectively with our young people, staff, and external partners to ensure their needs are met.
  • Contribute to a supportive and collaborative working environment, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • A minimum Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People, with a willingness to study towards the Level 5 Diploma.
  • Experience working with vulnerable children and young people, with a strong understanding of their needs and challenges.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
