About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Deputy Manager to join our team at Aspris Children's Services Limited. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the management of our children's home and ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our young people.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day management of the home, including overseeing the implementation of care and independence programs for our young people.
- Line manage a small staff team, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality care and support.
- Manage shift patterns on a rota basis, ensuring that the home is adequately staffed at all times.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with our young people, their families, and external agencies.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote the well-being and safety of our young people.
Requirements
- A minimum Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People is essential for this role.
- Experience of working in a children's home or similar setting is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with our young people, staff, and external agencies.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
