Our client, a leading Used Car Dealership based in the Waltham Cross area, is seeking an up and coming General Manager / Head of Business to lead and inspire their large team. The company has a diverse range of cars to suit every type of customer, making it an ideal place to work.

As a Head of Business / General Manager, you will be responsible for leading, motivating, managing, and driving your team to deliver customer service excellence and meet the company's key performance indicators. You will be commercially minded, passionate about the car industry, and motivated by setting, achieving, and exceeding targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a large team to deliver exceptional customer service and meet business objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and motivate the team to achieve targets and exceed expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Resource the sales team appropriately to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
  • A proven track record in sales, preferably within the Automotive Industry.
  • A strong used car background, ideally from a used car supermarket.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate the team.
  • Strong customer focus and commercial acumen.
  • Great computer literacy and communication skills.
  • Self-motivation and a passion for the car industry.
Working Pattern

Your working pattern will cover a mixture of weekends and weekdays, mainly long days of 4 or 5 days per week, rota dependent. The dealership is open until 10pm, so the shifts will be long but highly profitable. An extended in-house training period will be required initially, which will involve travel to other parts of the business to absorb the company culture and processes.
