Our client, a leading Used Car Dealership in the Waltham Cross area, is seeking an experienced Head of Business / General Manager to lead and inspire their team. The company offers a wide range of cars to suit every customer's needs, making it an ideal place to work.

As a Head of Business / General Manager, you will be responsible for leading, motivating, and managing the team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve business objectives. You will be commercially minded, passionate about the car industry, and motivated by setting and exceeding targets.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and manage the sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service
  2. Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction
  3. Manage and motivate the team to achieve their full potential and deliver outstanding results
  4. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, and maintain high standards of customer service
  5. Work closely with the Aftersales / Service departments to ensure seamless customer experience
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A proven track record in sales, preferably in the Automotive Industry
  2. Strong used car background, ideally from a used car supermarket
  3. Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire the team
  4. Strong customer focus and excellent communication skills
  5. Great computer literacy and ability to work with various systems
  6. Self-motivation and ability to work under pressure
Working Pattern

Your working pattern will cover a mixture of weekends and weekdays, with a mix of long days and flexible hours. The dealership is open until 10pm, and you will be required to work a rota-dependent schedule. An extended in-house training period will be provided, including travel to other parts of the business to absorb the company culture and processes.
