Position Overview

As the leader of our establishment, you will be tasked with ensuring the highest standards of culinary excellence, exceptional customer service, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and operational efficiency of the restaurant. Your role is pivotal in driving sales and profitability while managing all aspects of restaurant expenses, including effective scheduling that prioritizes guest satisfaction. Fostering a motivated team and a positive work atmosphere is essential to encourage repeat patronage at German Doner Kebab.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership: Oversee all facets of the German Doner Kebab restaurant to ensure operational excellence.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Guarantee that customer service surpasses company benchmarks and consistently achieves high guest satisfaction.
  • Complaint Resolution: Address guest complaints promptly and take necessary actions to resolve issues effectively.
  • Quality Assurance: Enforce standards to ensure the highest quality of food and service is delivered.
  • Shift Management: Organize and supervise shifts to optimize team performance and guest experience.
  • Team Development: Train and mentor team members through structured training programs and ongoing feedback.
  • Performance Evaluation: Assess team performance and provide constructive feedback to maintain a motivated workforce.
  • Inventory Management: Forecast needs and manage stock levels to ensure product availability while minimizing waste.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensure adherence to food safety and health regulations.
  • Cost Control: Manage expenses effectively to maximize restaurant profitability.
  • Brand Promotion: Actively promote and enhance the GDK brand.
  • Work Environment: Cultivate a positive work culture and lead by example.
  • Operational Oversight: Monitor restaurant operations and implement corrective measures as needed.
  • Financial Management: Oversee financial performance, including sales growth and cost management.
  • Sales Analysis: Analyze and strategize for restaurant sales and profitability.
  • Marketing Initiatives: Organize promotional activities and marketing campaigns.
  • Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports on team performance, food control, and sales metrics.
  • Budget Management: Set and negotiate budgets with the franchisee.
  • Team Welfare: Manage team well-being and provide regular feedback.
  • Guest Engagement: Welcome guests and manage reservations.
  • Hygiene Standards: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Stock Control: Monitor stock levels and order supplies as necessary.
  • Cash Management: Prepare cash drawers and manage petty cash.
  • Teamwork: Encourage collaboration and a positive attitude among staff.
  • Daily Reporting: Complete necessary reports at the end of each shift.
  • Training Participation: Attend training sessions and meetings as required.
  • Security Responsibility: Ensure the security of the restaurant.
  • Stock Delivery Coordination: Work with supervisors to manage stock deliveries and maintain accurate records.
  • Account Management: Collaborate with GDK and the franchisee to ensure accurate monthly accounts.
  • System Administration: Maintain the German Doner Kebab management system.
  • Stock Area Monitoring: Ensure stock storage areas are secure and organized.
  • Training Oversight: Monitor staff training and conduct annual performance reviews.
  • Food Quality Leadership: Lead efforts to maintain high food quality standards.
  • Operational Support: Assist supervisors during peak times and fulfill any necessary operational duties.
  • Legal Compliance: Adhere to all legal responsibilities associated with the business.
  • Food Safety Certification: Maintain a local authority food safety certificate.
  • Equipment Knowledge: Possess a thorough understanding of all equipment and ensure preventative maintenance is performed.
