Position Overview
As the leader of the establishment, you are tasked with ensuring uniformity in food quality, exceptional service, and the upkeep of the restaurant's cleanliness and overall condition. You will be responsible for driving the restaurant's sales and profitability by managing all operational costs effectively while ensuring an outstanding guest experience. Your role is pivotal in fostering a motivated team and cultivating a positive work atmosphere that encourages repeat visits to German Doner Kebab.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership:
- Oversee and manage all facets of the German Doner Kebab restaurant.
- Ensure guest service consistently surpasses company benchmarks and maintains high satisfaction levels.
- Address guest complaints promptly and take appropriate measures to resolve issues.
- Guarantee the highest quality of food products is served.
- Organize and supervise shifts to optimize team and guest satisfaction.
- Train and develop team members through structured training and continuous operational feedback.
- Evaluate team performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance productivity.
- Forecast consumption, manage inventory, and ensure product availability while minimizing waste.
- Monitor compliance with food safety and health regulations.
- Control expenses and reduce waste to maximize restaurant profitability.
- Promote and enhance the GDK brand effectively.
- Foster a positive work environment and lead by example.
- Oversee all restaurant operations and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Act as duty manager on a rotational basis.
- Manage financial aspects including sales growth, cost control, and profit enhancement.
- Take accountability for the restaurant's business performance.
- Analyze and strategize restaurant sales and profitability.
- Coordinate marketing initiatives, including promotional events and discount programs.
- Prepare reports at the end of shifts or weekly, covering team performance, food management, and sales.
- Develop and implement plans for sales growth, restaurant profitability, and staff development.
- Set and negotiate budgets with the franchisee.
- Oversee the entire restaurant operation during scheduled shifts.
- Manage team welfare and provide regular feedback.
- Ensure all employees comply with company uniform standards.
- Welcome guests and manage table reservations.
- Supervise kitchen, dining, and counter team shifts.
- Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety.
- Check stock levels and order supplies as needed.
- Prepare cash drawers and manage petty cash as required.
- Assist in any area of the restaurant as circumstances dictate.
- Encourage teamwork, cooperation, and a positive attitude within the work environment.
- Complete all necessary daily reports at the end of each shift.
- Attend training or meetings as required by German Doner Kebab or the Franchisee.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager based on business needs.
- Ensure the security of the German Doner Kebab restaurant.
- Collaborate with supervisors to coordinate stock deliveries and maintain accurate records.
- Work closely with GDK and the Franchisee to ensure accurate monthly accounts and timely delivery administration.
- Manage and maintain the German Doner Kebab PMC system.
- Monitor stock storage areas to ensure they are secure, organized, and clean.
- Collaborate with supervisors to achieve tight stock control and budgeted margins.
- Ensure timely ordering to maintain stock levels.
- Welcome all customers and exemplify exceptional customer care.
- Oversee staff training, including conducting annual performance reviews.
- Ensure high standards of food quality are maintained.
- Support supervisors and colleagues during peak times and undertake any operational duties as required.
- Ensure the GDK team is well-groomed and ready for work.
- Adhere to legal responsibilities and requirements associated with the business.
- Maintain a local authority food safety certificate and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Possess a good working knowledge of all equipment and perform preventative maintenance efficiently.

Qualifications
