The Procurement Project Manager for Shop Fitting is responsible for leading and managing procurement initiatives from inception to execution. This role involves a variety of tasks aimed at optimizing the procurement process and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee procurement projects from initial requisition through to final implementation.
- Conduct research to identify innovative solutions and potential suppliers.
- Test and evaluate new solutions in retail environments as required.
- Manage project budgets and ensure cost efficiency throughout the procurement process.
- Coordinate order placements and oversee delivery schedules.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, summaries, and project updates for senior management.
- Collaborate with internal teams, international colleagues, and external vendors.
- Communicate changes, new initiatives, and project rollouts effectively across the organization.
- Ensure proper installation of new equipment by developing and implementing effective procedures.
- Analyze market trends and business processes to generate innovative ideas that add value.
- Challenge existing specifications and contracts with a focus on innovation and sustainability.
- Identify and propose cost-saving opportunities to senior executives and regional stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Self-motivated and proactive with a positive attitude and the ability to manage projects independently.
