Role Overview

The Procurement Project Manager for Shop Fitting is responsible for leading and managing procurement initiatives from inception to execution. This role involves a variety of tasks aimed at optimizing the procurement process and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee procurement projects from initial requisition through to final implementation.
  • Conduct research to identify innovative solutions and potential suppliers.
  • Test and evaluate new solutions in retail environments as required.
  • Manage project budgets and ensure cost efficiency throughout the procurement process.
  • Coordinate order placements and oversee delivery schedules.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports, summaries, and project updates for senior management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, international colleagues, and external vendors.
  • Communicate changes, new initiatives, and project rollouts effectively across the organization.
  • Ensure proper installation of new equipment by developing and implementing effective procedures.
  • Analyze market trends and business processes to generate innovative ideas that add value.
  • Challenge existing specifications and contracts with a focus on innovation and sustainability.
  • Identify and propose cost-saving opportunities to senior executives and regional stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Self-motivated and proactive with a positive attitude and the ability to manage projects independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, effective negotiation abilities, and confidence in presenting to senior leadership.
