Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee procurement projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Conduct thorough research to identify new solutions and suppliers, evaluating their suitability and potential impact.
  • Test and implement new solutions in stores, assessing their effectiveness and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, controlling costs and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Coordinate order and delivery management, ensuring seamless execution and timely receipt of goods.
  • Prepare comprehensive project status reports and summaries for senior management, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, international colleagues, and external suppliers to drive project success and foster strong relationships.
  • Communicate changes, new initiatives, and project rollouts to the business, ensuring clear understanding and buy-in.
  • Develop and implement effective procedures for installing new equipment, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • Analyze market trends and business processes, generating innovative ideas to drive value and growth.
  • Challenge existing specifications and contracts, promoting innovation and sustainability while minimizing costs.
  • Identify and propose cost-saving opportunities to senior executives and regional stakeholders, driving business growth and improvement.

    Requirements

    • Self-motivated and proactive, with a can-do attitude and ability to drive projects independently.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to present projects and ideas to senior management.
    • Strong project management experience, with the ability to manage conflicting deadlines and priorities.
    • Creative problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to drive innovation and cost savings.
    • Ability to plan and control budgets, with a strong understanding of financial management.
    • Interest in working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a willingness to adapt and evolve.
    • Strong technical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
