Deputy Nurse Home Manager Job Opportunity

An exciting new role has arisen for a motivated and experienced Nurse Deputy Home Manager to join our team at a leading care home in Houghton-le-Spring, Tyne & Wear.

About the Role

As a Deputy Home Manager, you will be responsible for achieving the highest possible standards of care and enhancing the resident experience. You will work closely with the Home Manager to implement care home policies, develop personal contact with residents and their relatives, and deputise in the overall management of the care home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of yourself and others, including colleagues, residents, and visitors to the Home.
  • Develop and implement quality and clinical governance programmes, including audit and care services.
  • Support and guide others in line with the NMC Code, following its guidance at all times.
  • Manage a team, ensuring all staff are supervised appropriately and rotas are in place to enable the smooth, efficient running of the home.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £20.00 per hour, with an annual salary of £40,040. You will also receive a generous holiday entitlement, free meals, and ongoing personal development opportunities.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin. You should have experience of managing a team, ensuring all staff are supervised appropriately and rotas are in place to enable the smooth, efficient running of the home.
