Job Summary:

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the role of Deputy Home Manager at one of our esteemed care homes. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring the team to deliver exceptional care and services to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead and motivate the care team to deliver high-quality care and services, promoting choice and independence for our residents.
  • Care Standards and Quality: Ensure that all company policies, regulations, and care plans are adhered to, and that the highest possible standards of care are maintained.
  • Deputy Home Manager Role: Deputise for the Home Manager, taking responsibility for the overall management of the care home, including production of reports, budgets, and quality of life monitoring.
  • Health, Safety, and Welfare: Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of yourself and others, including colleagues, residents, and visitors to the home.
  • Training and Development: Ensure that all team members attend training days and courses, maintaining learning records and individual development.

Requirements and Preferences:

  • Experience and Skills: Proven experience in managing a team, ensuring all staff are supervised appropriately, and rotas are in place for efficient running of the home.
  • Quality and Clinical Governance: Experienced in quality and clinical governance programs, including audit and care services.
  • NMC Code and Compliance: Able to support and guide others in line with the NMC Code, following its guidance at all times.
  • Leadership and Motivation: Driven, motivated, and committed to quality care, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Networking and Communication: A natural networker with internal and external stakeholders, with excellent communication skills.

Benefits and Salary:

  • Competitive Salary: £40,040 per annum, based on a 20.00 per hour rate.
