An exciting new role has arisen for a motivated and experienced Nurse Deputy Home Manager to join our team at a leading care home in Houghton-le-Spring, Tyne & Wear.

About the Role

As a Deputy Home Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest possible standards of care and enhancing the resident experience. You will work closely with the Home Manager to implement care home policies, develop personal contact with residents and their families, and deputise in the overall management of the care home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of residents, staff, and visitors
  • Develop and implement care plans, ensuring all company policies and regulations are adhered to
  • Work with the Home Manager to implement quality and clinical governance programmes
  • Support and guide others in line with the NMC Code
  • Manage a team, ensuring all staff are supervised appropriately and rotas are in place
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin. You will also need experience of managing a team, ensuring all staff are supervised appropriately and rotas are in place.
