About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at RHS Garden Wisley. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the planning, preparation, and presentation of high-quality dishes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, inventory management, and supply ordering.
  • Direct food preparation and collaborate with the Executive Chef to ensure high-quality dishes are produced.
  • Oversee and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring a smooth and efficient service.
  • Assist with scheduling staff shifts and training new employees.
  • Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment, ensuring it is in good working order.
  • Solve problems that arise in the kitchen and take control of issues.
