Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to join our team at Card Factory. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of our store, focusing on delivering exceptional customer experience, driving commercial growth, and developing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of sales assistants, team leaders, and assistant managers to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Develop and implement effective store strategies to drive commercial growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase sales.
  • Manage store operations, including stock management, merchandising, and visual merchandising to ensure a high-quality shopping environment.
  • Coach and develop colleagues to enhance their skills and knowledge, and provide regular feedback to improve performance.
  • Collaborate with district and regional managers to share best practices, discuss business opportunities, and drive growth.
  • Make informed decisions on stock availability, merchandising, and other commercial aspects to drive sales and profitability.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a store manager in a retail environment, with a proven track record of delivering commercial growth and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with wider stakeholders across the business to achieve business objectives.
