This position involves identifying critical issues such as underperforming and overperforming stores, analyzing staff transaction levels, and assessing transaction quality. You will work closely with the Retail Operations team to optimize staffing based on sales forecasts, foot traffic, and average transaction values, reporting directly to the Commercial Finance Manager.

  • Evaluating trading performance against foot traffic to uncover performance drivers and areas for enhancement. Collaborate with management to gather insights on conversion rates, transaction units, average selling prices, and upselling effectiveness.
  • Assessing overproductive stores where high foot traffic and staffing hours result in missed sales opportunities.
  • Identifying the impact of turnover in key sales personnel on overall store performance.
  • Maximizing transaction quality through optimal product combinations.
  • Generating detailed sales performance reports and facilitating weekly discussions with store managers regarding performance metrics.
  • Assisting the Retail Operations team with scheduling tasks, including:
  • Utilizing sales forecasts, foot traffic, and average transaction values to optimize staffing levels.
  • Enhancing store productivity by aligning staffing with operational needs.
  • Providing data-driven recommendations for scheduling adjustments.
  • Supporting various Retail Operations tasks to ensure seamless store functionality.

Qualifications for Success:

Technical Skills:

  • Experience in a commercial role with strong analytical capabilities, including statistical analysis and trend forecasting. Proficiency in data analysis software is essential.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are required.
  • Familiarity with Tableau or similar data visualization tools is advantageous for effective data presentation.

Personal Attributes:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating adaptability to changing project demands.
  • Exemplifies Moss's core values and behavioral competencies in daily tasks and interactions.

Benefits:
