Job Title: Civils Supervisor

Job Summary:

Circet UK is seeking an experienced Civils Supervisor to join our team in the Scottish Borders. As a Civils Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing workflows, surveying and programming work streams, and organizing staff to carry out required works efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full project lifecycle from allocation to closure, ensuring quality and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Address non-conformance and non-compliance early to minimize cost impact.
  • Coach and mentor field operatives to improve quality and compliance.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the Works Control and Noticing departments.
  • Carry out in-progress audits and coach sub-contractors on site to identify and implement innovations that improve site safety.
  • Identify and prepare submissions for DFEs (Design for Excellence) to the Client for approval.
  • Keep accurate daily records of works planned and issues encountered.

Requirements:

  • Experience and strong understanding of the SROH (Site Rules and Operating Handbook).
  • NRSWA accreditation to Supervisor.
  • Understanding of WIP v Cash and strategic commercial awareness.
  • Knowledge of permit to work schemes and noticing.
  • Experience of dealing with external stakeholders and communicating effectively.
  • Ability to understand Client's quality requirements.
  • IOSH desirable.
