Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Civils Supervisor to join our team at Circet IRE & UK.

As a Civils Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing workflows and surveying work streams to optimize efficiency and staff productivity.
  • Overseeing the full project lifecycle, from allocation to closure, ensuring quality and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Addressing non-conformance and non-compliance promptly to minimize cost impact.
  • Coaching and mentoring field operatives to improve quality and compliance with industry standards.
  • Providing regular updates and reports to the Works Control and Noticing departments.
  • Conducting in-progress audits and coaching sub-contractors on site to identify and implement innovations that enhance site safety.
  • Identifying and preparing submissions for Development Feasibility Evaluations (DFE's) for client approval.
  • Maintaining accurate daily records of works planned and issues encountered.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience and strong understanding of the SROH.
  • NRSWA accreditation to Supervisor level.
  • Understanding of the importance of Work-in-Progress (WIP) versus Cash.
  • Strategic and Commercial Awareness: ability to consider business impact of decisions and operational requests.
  • Knowledge of permit-to-work schemes and noticing procedures.
  • Experience in dealing with external stakeholders and effective communication.
  • Ability to understand client quality requirements.
  • IOSH certification desirable.
