Job Title: Lettings Negotiator

We are currently recruiting for a full-time Lettings Negotiator to join our team at Niyaa People. This role will aim to provide support to our housing association in the East Midlands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Property Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of properties to ensure they meet our standards.
  • Marketing and Letting: Effectively market and let properties in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring maximum occupancy rates.
  • Viewings and Tenant Liaison: Carry out viewings for new potential tenants, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth lettings process.
  • Local Authority Partnerships: Liaise with local authority partners to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Customer Support: Safeguard customers and their family members in accordance with our policies and procedures.
  • Data Security and Compliance: Ensure compliance with data security, protection policies, and processes.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Have experience letting or managing properties, preferably in social housing.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to show compassion and support to our customers.
  • Numeracy Skills: Have strong numeracy skills, with the ability to interpret data, calculate rents, and payments due.
  • Driving License: Hold a full UK driving license.
