About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Lettings Negotiator to join our team at Niyaa People. As a Lettings Negotiator, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service to our clients and tenants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Property Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of properties to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Marketing and Letting: Effectively market and let properties in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring maximum occupancy rates.
  • Viewings and Tenant Liaison: Conduct viewings for new potential tenants and provide excellent customer service to ensure a smooth renting experience.
  • Local Authority Partnerships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with local authority partners to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Customer Safeguarding: Safeguard customers and their family members in accordance with our policies and procedures.
  • Data Security and Compliance: Ensure compliance with data security and protection policies and processes to maintain the trust of our clients and tenants.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in letting or managing properties, preferably in social housing.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to show compassion and support to our clients and tenants.
  • Numeracy Skills: Strong numeracy skills, with the ability to interpret data, calculate rents, and process payments.
  • Driving License: A full UK driving license is essential for this role.
