Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their queries and concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Multitasking: Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing duties to meet the needs of the pharmacy and its customers.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of the job, including dispensing medication and handling customer transactions.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment, responding to changing circumstances and priorities as needed.
  • Optical Department Support: Assist with duties in the optical department, including handling customer inquiries and processing transactions.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a pharmacy or customer-facing role is not essential, but training will be provided.
  • Training and Development: Opportunities for training and development, including NVQ2 courses and apprenticeships, will be available to support career growth and development.
  • Reliability and Trustworthiness: Demonstrate reliability and trustworthiness, with a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding the pharmacy's values.
  • Availability: Be available to work every Saturday and flexible hours during the week, including a 7:30 pm finish.
