About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Engineer to join our team at London Gatwick Airport. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a critical role in the successful delivery of complex projects across our airport.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise multi-disciplined construction projects, working closely with the Project Management team to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Conduct regular site safety inspections to ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards and promote a positive HSE culture.
  • Review contractor CDM and quality submittals for compliance and quality assurance.
  • Inspect work in progress to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
  • Coordinate with electrical and mechanical engineering colleagues to ensure all works are installed to plan.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Field Engineer, Site Engineer, NEC Supervisor, or Clerk of Works in the construction or civil engineering sectors, managing multi-year projects valued at up to £10 million.
  • Skilled in project handover and closeout processes.
  • Proficient in identifying and resolving HSE issues related to construction.
  • Well-versed in quality management principles and practices.
