RESPONSIBILITIES:

ROLE PURPOSE:

As a Student Services and Hospitality Intern, you will assume a versatile role within both our student services and marketing divisions. Your main responsibilities will include leading engaging social program activities and producing captivating visual content to promote English Path. This distinctive position requires close collaboration with the Social Media Executive to boost our online visibility while being an essential part of the dedicated Student Services team.

Student Services:

  • Welcome new students and ensure a seamless orientation experience.
  • Promote a customer service-oriented culture to enhance student retention.
  • Lead various social program activities to foster student engagement.
  • Address student inquiries promptly regarding courses, accommodation, and well-being.
  • Effectively manage and resolve student issues and complaints.
  • Gather and analyze feedback for continuous improvement and high satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with the head office on post-arrival service matters.
  • Contribute to managing student accommodation and collaborate for optimal service delivery.
  • Proactively identify and implement opportunities for service enhancement.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed.

Customer Service and Hospitality:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns.
  • Assist in managing student accommodation arrangements.
  • Collaborate with the Student Services team to ensure students' well-being.
  • Efficiently handle and resolve student issues or complaints.
  • Support administrative tasks related to hospitality services.

ELIGIBILITY:

  • Open to students applying as part of their college, school, or university program.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quick adaptability to new software.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Positive attitude and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for assisting others.
  • Familiarity with the education sector and study abroad programs is advantageous.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Student satisfaction scores and feedback.
  • Timely and effective responses to student inquiries.
  • Successful resolution of student issues or complaints.
  • Improvements in student retention rates.
  • Positive feedback from staff and visitors regarding interactions.
  • Contributions to the enhancement of hospitality services.

WHAT WE OFFER:

  • Full-time interns committing up to 40 hours per week will receive a stipend of £150 per week along with paid public transport expenses.
  • Part-time interns will be offered a complimentary morning English course, committing up to 20 hours per week, during the afternoon/evening.
  • Internship Duration: 3 to 6 months
