As a leading AGCO dealer in the UK, Chandlers (Farm Equipment) Ltd has been meeting the demands of the agricultural, vehicle, and groundscare sectors for more than eight decades. We provide new machinery and aftersales support for renowned brands such as Massey Ferguson, Fendt, Valtra, and JCB, alongside a comprehensive range of complementary equipment from top manufacturers.
Role Overview:
- Responsible for the repair and maintenance of agricultural machinery, including tractors and combines, representing some of the most esteemed brands in the industry.
- Maintain accurate service records.
- Diagnose and resolve machinery issues, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Demonstrate and install machinery as required.
- Collaborate with service and workshop managers to meet demanding timelines.
- Travel to customer locations in the vicinity of your depot for servicing and repairs (a valid driving license is essential).
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Possesses a Level 3 qualification in Land Based Engineering or an equivalent in HGV, Plant, or Construction.
- Effective communicator with a diverse range of customers and colleagues.
- Open to additional training and specific manufacturer courses to enhance skills.
- Experienced in agricultural machinery and willing to work overtime during peak seasons.
- Capable of problem-solving and performing under pressure in challenging environments.
