About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charge Nurse to join our Mental Health team at NHS Lanarkshire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to our patients and providing clinical supervision to junior staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and deliver care to a defined caseload of clients/patients
  • Ensure the application of the Nursing Process and use of case management as appropriate
  • Provide clinical supervision to Registered Nurses, junior practitioners, and clinical support workers
  • Work in partnership with other disciplines and agencies to ensure a high standard of quality client/patient care
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with valid NMC Registration Mental Health/Learning Disabilities
  • Educated to/working towards/operating at Degree Level
  • Postgraduate expertise within speciality/area of practice
  • Comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards within the speciality/area of practice
  • Specialist knowledge and experience of relevant conditions, pathology, policies, and procedures associated with the speciality/area of practice
