Job Title: Customs Clearance Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Customs Clearance Specialist to join our team at WR Logistics. As a key member of our customs team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify customer-provided data against required sources and advise on potential errors.
- Create job files and enter data accurately into customs software.
- Use customs software to create import/export declarations (such as CDS).
- Track and monitor declaration status.
- Effectively and efficiently deal with queries and concerns, including liaising with all stakeholders in the process.
- Provide support and guidance on all the latest customs procedures.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2-5 years of experience working for a UK-based Freight Forwarder or Customs Broker.
- Customs qualifications and previous experience working with customs entries, CDS.
- Experience as a Customs Coordinator or equivalent.
- HMRC Compliance Knowledge is desirable.
