Job Summary
The objective is to increase sales of original equipment manufacturer (OEM) automotive parts to both new and existing independent repair shops for a well-established automotive parts program.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Conduct business-to-business (B2B) sales in assigned territories.
- Plan, manage, and implement sales strategies to achieve maximum results.
- Promote and communicate manufacturer promotions to customers.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential customers.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to achieve sales goals.
- Grow the business user database to ensure long-term growth of the business sales operations.
- Ensure high levels of customer service to build customer loyalty and retention.
- Plan workload to maximize sales opportunities and meet business objectives.
Experience, Skills, and Key Competencies
- At least 3 years of experience in a parts sales environment, either with a main dealer or OEM/aftermarket supplier, and a proven track record of achieving sales results against targets.
- A confident communicator with the ability to build rapport quickly with customers and deliver exceptional customer service.
- The drive to consistently meet and exceed customer needs and close deals effectively.
- Ability to develop OEM parts sales to existing customer bases and develop new parts accounts within assigned territories.
- Effective organization and management of day-to-day work and priorities, with the ability to use time, energy, and resources to meet goals, deadlines, and deliverables.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to adjust to shifts in priorities as the needs of the business change.
