Job Summary:
We are seeking an ambitious and innovative professional with experience in business support and loan portfolio management for UK and European structured finance transactions, including infrastructure/project finance, acquisition, and other asset finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Relationship Managers with credit applications, including onboarding new clients, KYC, documentation, and system inputs.
- Manage waiver requests, amendments, and variations post-funding.
- Monitor financial covenants and update borrower credit ratings.
- Ensure timely submission and approval of credit applications.
- Track loan performance, raise early warning signs, and identify opportunities within the portfolio.
- Collaborate with risk, legal, compliance, operations, and other departments for pre and post-funding activities.
- Stay updated on market trends in international business, especially in the UK and international infrastructure and M&A markets.
Requirements:
- Experience in loan business support or portfolio management.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure and project finance, M&A, and real estate, particularly in sectors like oil, gas, power, property, and renewables.
- Ability to understand complex financing structures and loan documentation.
- Excellent attention to detail, highly organised, and a confident communicator.
