Imperium Search is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Senior Portfolio Manager - Loan Asset Management. This position will be responsible for the management of a portfolio of bilateral UK and European commercial real estate investment and development loans, credit risk management, and re-underwriting transactions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and report on CRE asset management and loan asset management strategies involving a portfolio of performing loans and non-performing loans.
  • Provide advice and recommendations to the Lender credit function on issues relating to watch-listed and non-performing loans.
  • Undertake risk assessments of individual loans, underlying collateral, and Borrower to determine risk ratings for each loan.
  • Manage the relationship with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Review relevant finance documents prior to loan closing and throughout the life of the loan.
  • Liaise with borrowers, Facility Agents, and their representatives to ensure accurate reporting and information provision.
  • Liaise with project monitors, borrowers, and lenders regarding drawdowns.


Requirements:

  • Experience in loan management, with knowledge of the European commercial real estate finance sector.
  • Solid analytical skills, with intermediate to advanced level ability in Excel.
  • Experience managing a team of individuals is helpful but not essential.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
