About The Role

As a Van Controller at GSF Car Parts, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our sales promise is met by coordinating delivery runs and guaranteeing delivery drivers provide exceptional customer service.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the driver team to achieve optimal performance
  • Coordinate delivery runs and orders to minimize costs and maximize efficiency
  • Ensure timely delivery of vans and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Oversee branch fleet maintenance and servicing to ensure vehicles are always in good working condition
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer service standards

Working Hours:

Average hours, Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturday working

About You

We are seeking an experienced Van Controller who can motivate and lead a diverse team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and a willingness to go the extra mile.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of managing a driver team and coordinating delivery runs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to train and develop others
  • Minimum 3 years of driving experience
  • Geographical knowledge of the area within a 1-mile radius
