As a Centre Manager at Halfords, you will play a vital role in leading our team to success and providing an outstanding customer journey. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our Autocentre, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service and that our business meets its sales and profit targets.

We offer a competitive salary of £38,000 per annum, plus an average uncapped bonus of £10,800 per year. You will also enjoy a range of benefits, including 5.6 weeks' annual leave, up to 50% off garage bills in our Autocentres, and discounts on everything from groceries to restaurants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of sales and service advisors to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive business growth.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Autocentre, including sales, service, and customer service.
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth and increase customer engagement.
  • Monitor and analyze sales and customer service data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including retail and operations, to ensure seamless customer experiences.
Requirements:
  • Proven leadership and management experience within the automotive or retail industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Valid driving license and ability to travel to other locations as required.
