Your responsibilities will encompass delivering personalized care and assistance to our clients, including support during meal times.

In addition to the duties of a Night Care Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

  • assisting the Deputy and Home Manager by providing guidance to the care team
  • serving as the lead staff member on duty overnight in the absence of the Deputy Manager and communicating any issues or concerns to the Home Manager
  • acting as a role model and establishing the benchmark for staff in delivering person-centered care
  • offering support to night care personnel and advocating for the safety and dignity of clients
  • fairly distributing tasks among team members and aiding them in timely completion
  • operating within the care team and adhering to organizational policies and procedures, supervising, supporting, and assisting in the onboarding and training of care staff

Candidate Qualifications

  • experience in providing assistance in a compassionate setting and understanding the needs of elderly individuals
  • a minimum of two years' experience in the caregiving sector
  • proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and documenting care plans
  • NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Health & Social Care or equivalent, or a commitment to pursue relevant qualifications
  • capability to motivate and instill confidence and enthusiasm in clients and team members
  • ability to mentor and guide care staff
  • capacity to lead and oversee
  • skill in prioritizing personal and team workloads
  • knowledge of care regulations and guidelines

Work Schedule: Part-Time, 2 nights per week (24 hours total), shifts from 7pm to 7am
