Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Food & Beverage Host to join our team at the Barracuda. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers, providing exceptional customer service, and presenting our menus confidently and effectively.

About the Role

As a Food & Beverage Host, you will be the face of our establishment, ensuring that every customer has a memorable experience. You will be responsible for managing the flow of customers, taking orders, and serving food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner. Your excellent communication skills and ability to work well under pressure will be essential in providing a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that every customer feels welcome and valued
* Present our menus confidently and effectively, answering questions and making recommendations as needed
* Manage the flow of customers, taking orders and serving food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner
* Work collaboratively with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards

Requirements

* Previous experience in a food and beverage role, preferably in a hospitality setting
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
* Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions
* Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
