Position: 1st / 2nd Line IT Engineer

Location: Liverpool

Compensation: £23,000 - £28,000 DOE

Our client, a thriving family-owned enterprise established in the 1980s, is expanding their workforce and seeking a motivated 1st/2nd Line IT Engineer to provide support for their internal user community and contribute to ongoing and upcoming IT initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver 1st and 2nd Line IT Support to an internal user base exceeding 200 individuals
  • Document, prioritize, and resolve incoming support tickets
  • Assemble, maintain, and install hardware throughout the organization
  • Provide software support, including installation and troubleshooting
  • Manage user accounts, ensuring appropriate access and permissions
  • Oversee the effective operation of all IT equipment
  • Conduct asset management to keep records current

Technical Expertise Required:
  • Active Directory and Group Policies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure Entra ID
  • Familiarity with Office applications such as SharePoint, PowerShell, and Intune
  • Knowledge of Exchange
  • Experience with virtual servers is a plus but not mandatory
