Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Meridian Business Support Limited is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with students who require additional support to access their education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement specialist support for individuals as per their Support Plan.
  • Enable students to overcome barriers to learning by employing appropriate teaching and learning strategies.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of specialist support and provide feedback to the Learner Support Manager.
  • Assist with the physical and emotional needs of students and manage changing behaviors.
  • Encourage independence by giving choices and prompting.
  • Monitor and record support logs for individual students on ProMonitor.
