Job Title: Learning Support Assistant - SEND Student Support

Job Summary: Meridian Business Support is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work with SEND students in a Merseyside college. The successful candidate will provide support with lessons and lectures, and implement specialist support plans.

Key Responsibilities:

* Implement specialist support for individuals as per their Support Plan.
* Enable students to overcome barriers to learning by employing appropriate teaching and learning strategies.
* Monitor the effectiveness of specialist support and feedback to the Learner Support Manager.
* Assist with the physical and emotional needs of students and manage changing behaviours.
* Encourage independence by giving choices and prompting.
* Monitor and record support logs for individual students on ProMonitor.
