About the Role

As a key member of the Distribution Centre Management Team, you will be responsible for leading a team of colleagues to deliver exceptional Warehouse Service routines and standards. Your primary objective will be to ensure that our stores receive accurate and timely deliveries, while maintaining the highest standards of product availability and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Warehouse Service colleagues to deliver accurate end-to-end routines and standards in line with the operating model.
• Collaborate with the end-to-end supply chain process to resolve supplier-related matters and ensure seamless delivery of goods to stores.
• Prioritize and deliver seasonal, trade, and promotional events to maximize sales within stores, effectively planning resource and equipment.
• Work closely with Warehouse Service Team and Shift Managers/Duty Managers to ensure operating procedures are best-in-class and focus on providing stores with the service they require.
• Lead your team to work productively, coaching, supporting, and sharing best practices to meet or exceed targets and maintain efficiency at all times.
• Focus on delivering accurate goods to stores to improve product availability and customer satisfaction.
• Meet the needs of your team by using people routines and delivering great leadership.
• Deliver all operational routines and make decisions that prioritize customer needs.
• Operate in partnership with the Distribution Centre Management team and serve as a role model.
• Analyze data, establish root causes, and implement corrective improvement measures.
• Deliver exceptional standards across all operational areas of the Warehouse.
• Provide a strong presence with colleagues in Goods In, Assembly, Over the Bank (OTB), FLT, and Goods Out, proactively solving problems and coaching colleagues in the moment.
• Work closely with the Delivery Service Team to ensure the Transport Plan is delivered together.
• Make decisions that require management intervention as referred by Warehouse Service Coordinators for the benefit of customers and Tesco.
• Adhere to our Business Code of Conduct and Data Protection Law, acting with integrity and due diligence.
