About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT and Communications Manager to join our team at Primary Care Careers. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in leading our IT and communications efforts to drive business growth and improve patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of our IT strategy to meet modernization targets and maximize income.
  • Provide administrative support to our doctors and monitor the activities, workload, and performance of our administrative and secretarial staff to ensure an efficient service.
  • Be the main point of contact for all IT issues, including liaison with Arden & Gem and Primary Care IT.
  • Lead patient communication efforts for our surgery.
  • Assist with QOF lead, data entry coordination, audits, disease recalls, coding and summarizing of patient records, projects, research, smartcard sponsorship, X-On telephony, patient participation group coordination, and report generation.
  • Establish protocols for accurate data input and information access.
  • Develop procedures and policies, and serve as the main point of contact for Clarity Teamnet.
  • Manage our internal mailing system.

Requirements

  • Good standard of education.
  • Word processing skills combined with excellent Microsoft Word/Excel/Access or Outlook software knowledge.
