Precision Pharmacy Technician

Clarity Recruitment is in search of a dedicated Precision Pharmacy Technician to become a vital part of a reputable family-run pharmacy.
Position Overview:
- This role is a permanent full-time opportunity, with part-time options available. Typical working hours are from 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, including one late evening shift each week and a half-day on Saturdays. The exact schedule can be tailored during the interview process, emphasizing the importance of flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Precision Pharmacy Technician, your primary duty will involve performing accuracy assessments on prescription medications and the Pillroll service. You will be responsible for the final verification of dispensed medications prior to patient distribution. A solid understanding of checking protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and addressing any discrepancies is crucial. You will work closely with the pharmacist to ensure precise final checks and provide patients with guidance on medication usage and general pharmaceutical inquiries.
Candidate Requirements:
Essential Qualifications:
- Certified Precision Pharmacy Technician
- Qualified to Level 3 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent) or a Registered Technician
- Proficient in IT with experience in Windows-based systems
- Able to efficiently handle high-volume checking tasks with quick turnaround times
- Exhibit outstanding attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications:
- Considerable post-qualification experience in a dynamic pharmacy setting
- Familiarity with McLernons Pharmacy Software System
