Job Description

Clarity Recruitment is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a thriving family-owned pharmacy based in Northern Ireland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out accuracy checks on prescription items and Pillroll services
  • Complete final accuracy checks on dispensed medications before supply to patients
  • Work alongside the responsible pharmacist to provide accurate final checking assistance
  • Provide advice on the use of medicines and general pharmaceutical advice to patients
Requirements
  • Qualified Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician
  • Qualified to Level 3 Pharmacy Services (or equivalent), or be a Registered Technician
  • IT Literate and familiar with Windows-based computer systems
  • Able to deal with high-volume checking requirements and manage a fast turnaround of work
  • Display excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
Desirable Qualifications
  • Strong post-qualification experience working within a busy pharmacy and dispensary environment
  • Working knowledge of McLernons Pharmacy Software System
