Job Description:

Sheridan Maine South is seeking a highly skilled Financial Systems Specialist to join their head office finance department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining robust financial planning systems, overseeing and improving the functionality and efficiency of the finance system, and collaborating with stakeholders to create an enhanced model for budgeting and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning Systems: Design and implement financial planning systems that meet the organization's needs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • System Improvement: Continuously monitor and improve the functionality and efficiency of the finance system, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Budgeting and Reporting: Collaborate with stakeholders to create an enhanced model for budgeting and reporting, ensuring that financial data is accurate and easily accessible.
  • Financial Reporting: Design and generate accurate financial reports, providing insights and recommendations to management.
  • System Support: Provide ongoing support and training to system users, ensuring that they have the necessary skills to utilize the system effectively.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience in developing and maintaining financial planning systems, with a strong understanding of financial processes and systems.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and technical skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Qualifications: Qualified Accountant or qualified by experience with relevant knowledge, and good technical accounting knowledge.
